Directors’ Note
We are excited to introduce the 5th EVA Meeting! Two years ago, we took the decision to host the Meeting every two years instead of annually, to protect and ensure the quality of our content. At the same time, it was an excellent chance for us to reflect, brainstorm and discuss how we could make our Meeting better by preserving what was important and improving the layout and content. We hope we have achieved this!
The Meeting will take place on June 12-13, 2026, in Patras, Greece. In 16 hours, more than 60 talks will be given in the 19 sessions by our Global
faculty. This year the EVA meeting extends its collaborations to the SERVEI (Sociedad Española de Radiología Vascular e Intervencionista) from Spain and the Nephrology Society of Greece.
As always the EVA Meeting will provide dedicated sessions on Trial Updates, Guidelines, things that are “Up & Coming”, Catheters, and, of course, cases at the “Morbidity & Mortality” and “Extreme Vascular Access” sessions. This year’s “Spotlight” session is on endoAVF.
What is new:
In the “@knowledge” session we will discuss the new era of acquiring knowledge via podcasts, social media and AI engines and how Societies and traditional Media adapt to this new reality. The “Deep Learning” session will give the chance to 4 scientists/physicians to discuss an article that they found extremely interesting.
The “Clash of Clans” and the EVA Meeting “aPOLLcalypse”
This year, we are introducing the “Clash of Clans” sessions. These are 20 to 25 minutes debates on specific questions with specific answers. The EVA Meeting “aPOLLcalypse” is a polling system taking place via the EVA Meeting account on LinkedIn which will give the opportunity to the EVA Meeting followers to vote on the “Clash of Clans” questions. So, at the end of the presentations the results will be presented before discussion.
We hope you will find the program we created interesting and we look forward to welcoming you in the 5th EVA Meeting!
